Shane at Divine replaced the Fusion stereo and speakers on my boat. He did an incredible job guiding me to the right solution and then doing the install. He was mobile so the experience was quite convenient and the workmanship was of the highest quality. In addition, he gave me recommendations to other service providers to do repairs on my boat. My experience was terrific and I highly recommend Shane and Divine.

GatorStep Decking FAQ

Common questions from Seattle area boaters about custom foam decking.

What is GatorStep flooring?

GatorStep is a marine grade closed cell EVA foam decking that replaces carpet, bare fiberglass or teak. It is cut to a digital pattern of your boat, laser detailed and bonded with pressure reactive adhesive for a permanent, non skid finish.

How long does a GatorStep install take?

Plan on about three weeks start to finish. Patterning takes around two hours at your boat, templates come back in three to five days for test fit, and fabrication plus install runs about two weeks. Your boat is only tied up for a short window.

Will GatorStep damage my gelcoat?

No. We prep and clean the surface properly, and the adhesive is designed for marine surfaces. If panels are ever removed, adhesive residue can be cleaned off without harming the gelcoat underneath.

How do I clean GatorStep decking?

Soap, water and a soft brush. It is stain resistant, so sunscreen, fish blood and drink spills come right off. Avoid harsh solvents and pressure washing directly at the seams.

Can you add my boat brand logo or hull name?

Yes. Double and triple laminate lets us laser engrave logos, hull names and custom artwork in contrasting colors. We confirm every logo position during the paper template test fit.

Do you install GatorStep outside Seattle?

Yes. We pattern and install throughout Western Washington including Bellevue, Kirkland, Renton, Tacoma, Everett, Gig Harbor, Anacortes and the San Juans.
