About Our Cobalt Projects

The projects shown here include Cobalt 232 and 242 audio systems, a 262 helm refit and a Cobalt 360 with new speakers and amplifiers. Cobalt interiors are tight and well finished, so we route new cable through existing chases and avoid drilling visible upholstery wherever possible.

We work on Cobalt boats at marinas, slips and driveways across Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Bothell, Everett and the rest of King, Snohomish and Pierce counties, or at our Kirkland shop at 611 4th Ave. The 8 photos below are real Divine Marine Cobalt projects, not stock images. How It Works

How We Handle Cobalt Projects

The same four steps on every Cobalt job, from a small upgrade to a full build.

01

Look At The Boat

We look at the Cobalt you have, how you use it and what is already installed, at your dock or our Kirkland shop.

02

Written Quote

You get a written quote listing every speaker, amp, display or light, with the install labor spelled out.

03

Clean Install

Marine wire, sealed connections and fused circuits, routed through existing chases so the Cobalt keeps a factory look.

04

Test & Hand Over

We test every component, tune the system and walk you through the controls before the boat goes back out.

Cobalt FAQ

Questions we hear about Cobalt boats.

Can you replace the factory Cobalt stereo without changing the dash?

Usually yes. We pick a receiver that fits the existing opening or build a clean adapter plate, so the helm keeps the factory look.

Do Cobalt boats need special speakers?

No, but they benefit from marine speakers with UV rated cones and grilles that match the interior. We often use Fusion Signature or JL Audio M series to keep the clean look.

Do you repair Cobalt gelcoat as well?

Yes. Our fiberglass team handles chips, cracks and dock rash on Cobalt hulls with color matched gelcoat. See the fiberglass repair gallery for examples.
