Shane at Divine replaced the Fusion stereo and speakers on my boat. He did an incredible job guiding me to the right solution and then doing the install. He was mobile so the experience was quite convenient and the workmanship was of the highest quality. In addition, he gave me recommendations to other service providers to do repairs on my boat. My experience was terrific and I highly recommend Shane and Divine.

Shane was great! Very knowledgeable about audio and electronics, great suggestions for products. Best of all, he picked up my boat and returned it the very next day with all new sound system! Really happy with the update so far!

Shane is wonderful to work with. He put a much needed upgraded sound system on my yacht in Lake Union and some other nice gadgets. Beautiful workmanship.
AIS & VHF Seattle
Puget Sound runs commercial traffic through narrow, fog prone channels. An AIS transceiver puts your boat on the screens of every ship, tug and ferry in the area, and a properly installed VHF with DSC is the fastest way to call for help when it counts.
We install Class B and Class B+ AIS transceivers, fixed mount VHF radios from Icom, Standard Horizon and Garmin, and the antennas, splitters and cabling that make them actually perform. A VHF is only as good as its antenna and coax, and most range complaints we diagnose trace back to corroded connectors or undersized cable.
Every job includes the details that get skipped: MMSI programming, DSC test calls, GPS position feeds verified, and a radio check so you know the system works before you ever need it.
Capabilities
Thermal, low light and engine room cameras, installed and networked as one system.
Transceivers that broadcast your position and show traffic on your plotter, with B+ giving higher power and faster update rates.
25 watt fixed radios with DSC, fog horns, hailer functions and remote mic stations at a second helm.
Proper 8dB and 3dB antennas matched to your boat, with low loss coax and gold plated connectors that survive the marine environment.
Quality active splitters so AIS and VHF share one antenna without dead spots in either system.
MMSI entered, DSC position feed verified and a test call made so the distress button actually works.
Second station mics and intercom setups for flybridge and cockpit control of the main radio.
How It Goes
Four steps from the first look at your boat to a night test on the water.
We test existing antenna, coax and connections first, because half of VHF problems are the feedline, not the radio.
Radio, AIS, antenna and cabling installed with proper drip loops, connectors and fused power.
MMSI, DSC, AIS static data and vessel dimensions entered and verified on the network.
Radio check, AIS target confirmation on a second receiver and a walkthrough of the DSC functions.
Questions
A transceiver. Receive only units let you see ships but the ships cannot see you. In Puget Sound fog, broadcasting your position to commercial traffic is the entire point.
B+ transmits at 5 watts instead of 2 and updates more frequently at speed. For most recreational boats B+ is worth the small price difference, especially if you run fast or cross shipping lanes.
Almost always the antenna, coax or connectors. Corroded connections and cheap coax can cost you most of your range. We test the whole feedline before blaming the radio.
Yes. We program the MMSI into the radio and AIS, and can walk you through the FCC or BoatUS registration if you do not have one yet.
Solid state radomes and open array radar tuned for Puget Sound fog, rain clutter and low visibility running.
MFD installs, cartography setup, sensor calibration and full NMEA 2000 integration at the helm.
EV Series and hydraulic autopilots installed, drive matched, dockside configured and sea trial tuned.
Marine satellite TV, KVH domes and Starlink Marine with proper mounting, routing and onboard networking.
FLIR thermal night vision, IP day cameras and engine room monitoring pushed straight to your MFD.
Fusion, JL Audio and Wet Sounds zone systems tied into helm control and amplified the right way.
Through hull, transom and in hull CHIRP, DownVision and SideVision with correct deadrise and fairing blocks.
