Shane at Divine replaced the Fusion stereo and speakers on my boat. He did an incredible job guiding me to the right solution and then doing the install. He was mobile so the experience was quite convenient and the workmanship was of the highest quality. In addition, he gave me recommendations to other service providers to do repairs on my boat. My experience was terrific and I highly recommend Shane and Divine.

Shane was great! Very knowledgeable about audio and electronics, great suggestions for products. Best of all, he picked up my boat and returned it the very next day with all new sound system! Really happy with the update so far!

Shane is wonderful to work with. He put a much needed upgraded sound system on my yacht in Lake Union and some other nice gadgets. Beautiful workmanship.
Sonar & Transducers Seattle
A transducer is a precision instrument living in a hostile spot. Mounted a few degrees off, in turbulent water, or with a sloppy fairing block, it will read fine at the dock and blow out into noise the moment you get on plane. Most sonar complaints we diagnose are placement and installation problems, not equipment problems.
We install through hull, transom and in hull transducers from Airmar and every major electronics brand: CHIRP traditional sonar, DownVision and SideVision imaging, and full wide beam systems for serious fishing. Placement is chosen for clean, non aerated water flow at your cruise speed, with deadrise compensated and fairing blocks shaped correctly.
Through hull work is done right: proper hole sizing, correct bedding compound, torqued to spec and leak checked. We coordinate haul outs with local yards and can pilot the boat, so the whole job stays with one crew.
Capabilities
Thermal, low light and engine room cameras, installed and networked as one system.
Bronze and stainless through hull installs with correct fairing blocks, bedding and torque for clean readings at speed.
Transom transducers positioned in clean water flow, adjusted for your hull running angle.
In hull transducers bedded in solid fiberglass for boats where drilling is not an option.
CHIRP traditional, DownVision, SideVision and live imaging systems configured for local depths and bottom types.
Correct fairing block shaping and deadrise compensation so the beam points straight down, not off at an angle.
Depth offsets, scroll speed, gain and palette tuned on the water for the way you fish or cruise.
How It Goes
Four steps from the first look at your boat to a night test on the water.
We identify clean water locations on your hull and choose the mount type that fits your hull construction and use.
Transducer mounted with proper bedding, fairing and cable routing. Through hull work is torqued to spec and leak checked.
Sonar module networked to your displays with correct source selection and chart overlay where supported.
Depth offset, gain and imaging settings tuned under way, including readings at cruise speed.
Questions
Yes. Through hull installs require the boat out of the water. We coordinate the haul out with local yards and can pilot the boat, so you are not managing three vendors.
Almost always placement or turbulence. The transducer is sitting in aerated water at speed. Relocating it or correcting the fairing usually fixes it completely.
Most boats can. Side imaging transducers need a clean unobstructed view to both sides, so placement matters more than usual. We assess your hull and tell you honestly what results to expect.
Through hull performs best, especially at speed and depth. In hull works well on solid fiberglass hulls without coring and avoids a new hole. We recommend based on your hull construction and how you use the sonar.
Solid state radomes and open array radar tuned for Puget Sound fog, rain clutter and low visibility running.
MFD installs, cartography setup, sensor calibration and full NMEA 2000 integration at the helm.
Class B and B+ AIS transceivers, fixed mount VHF, DSC setup and MMSI programming so you are seen and heard.
EV Series and hydraulic autopilots installed, drive matched, dockside configured and sea trial tuned.
Marine satellite TV, KVH domes and Starlink Marine with proper mounting, routing and onboard networking.
FLIR thermal night vision, IP day cameras and engine room monitoring pushed straight to your MFD.
Fusion, JL Audio and Wet Sounds zone systems tied into helm control and amplified the right way.
