Shoreline Mobile Service
Structural and cosmetic fiberglass work at your slip. Every job in Shoreline is mobile dockside service. We come to your marina, slip, dry storage, or driveway with a fully equipped truck.
We repair fiberglass and gelcoat for Shoreline boaters without the usual haul out and yard wait. Color matched gelcoat, proper layup and careful fairing mean the repair disappears, whether the boat is on Puget Sound or parked in Richmond Beach.
Shoreline Local Coverage: North Seattle coverage and Puget Sound access.
Shoreline trailer boats see tarp wear and sun damage. We repair gelcoat chips and stress cracks at your driveway.
Shoreline has Puget Sound on one side and no public launch of its own, so local boaters keep their boats at home and tow to Edmonds or Shilshole, or keep them in a slip at one of those marinas. Saltwater use plus driveway storage under tall evergreens is the typical pattern.
Common Shoreline repairs include gelcoat chips and gouges, cracked swim platforms, transom and stringer work, non skid restoration and blister repair. Boats that see salt water like trailered fishing boats and runabouts stored at home, plus saltwater boats kept at Shilshole and Edmonds each wear in different ways, and we plan the layup and gelcoat to match.
Shoreline is straight across on SR 522 and up I-5 from Kirkland, and we often pair Shoreline jobs with Edmonds and Shilshole work on the same day.

How It Works
Same process on every boat, whether it is a trailered fishing boats and runabouts stored at home or a boat in a covered slip. Shoreline owners who fish the Sound start early, so we take a lot of February and March calls for electronics and pre season checks.
Photos of the chip, crack or impact area plus the boat location in Shoreline let us plan materials and gelcoat color before arriving.
We quote the repair in writing, including whether it can be done in the water, on the trailer or needs a short haul out.
Damaged laminate is ground out, rebuilt with proper layup, faired and finished with tinted gelcoat matched to the hull.
The repair is wet sanded and buffed, then inspected with you so it blends with the rest of the boat.

Shane at Divine replaced the Fusion stereo and speakers on my boat. He did an incredible job guiding me to the right solution and then doing the install. He was mobile so the experience was quite convenient and the workmanship was of the highest quality. In addition, he gave me recommendations to other service providers to do repairs on my boat. My experience was terrific and I highly recommend Shane and Divine.

Shane was great! Very knowledgeable about audio and electronics, great suggestions for products. Best of all, he picked up my boat and returned it the very next day with all new sound system! Really happy with the update so far!

Shane is wonderful to work with. He put a much needed upgraded sound system on my yacht in Lake Union and some other nice gadgets. Beautiful workmanship.
Common questions from Shoreline boat owners about fiberglass & gelcoat.
Yes. We tint gelcoat on site to match the existing finish, including faded and oxidized colors common on boats used on Puget Sound. Small chips blend in after sanding and buffing, and larger repairs are faired before the final gelcoat.
Usually not. Most gelcoat, swim step and topside repairs are done at the slip, dock or on the trailer in Shoreline. Below waterline structural work or blister jobs may need the boat out of the water, and we coordinate that for you.
Cosmetic gelcoat repairs in Shoreline usually take one or two visits. Structural work on transoms, stringers or hulls can take several days because each layer needs to cure properly, especially in the cool, damp weather around Puget Sound.
At your home. Most Shoreline boats live in driveways in Richmond Beach, Innis Arden or North City, and that is where we work. If your boat is in a slip at Shilshole or Edmonds we can do the work at the marina.
