Edmonds Mobile Service
Structural and cosmetic fiberglass work at your slip. Every job in Edmonds is mobile dockside service. We come to your marina, slip, dry storage, or driveway with a fully equipped truck.
We repair fiberglass and gelcoat for Edmonds boaters without the usual haul out and yard wait. Color matched gelcoat, proper layup and careful fairing mean the repair disappears, whether the boat is on Puget Sound or parked in Downtown Edmonds.
Edmonds Local Coverage: Edmonds Marina and Puget Sound waterfront.
Salt spray at Port of Edmonds drives blister and barrier coat work. We perform slip side gelcoat and structural repairs without hauling out.
Edmonds is a full saltwater harbor facing open Puget Sound. Wind waves from the north, ferry wake from the Edmonds to Kingston run and steady salt spray mean corrosion and gelcoat wear show up faster here than on the lakes.
Common Edmonds repairs include gelcoat chips and gouges, cracked swim platforms, transom and stringer work, non skid restoration and blister repair. Boats that see salt water like saltwater sport fishers, crabbing skiffs, cruisers and sailboats moored at the Port of Edmonds each wear in different ways, and we plan the layup and gelcoat to match.
We run up I-405 and SR 104 or down from I-5 and are at the Port of Edmonds docks in well under an hour from Kirkland.

How It Works
Same process on every boat, whether it is a saltwater sport fishers or a boat in a covered slip. Salmon openers and crab season bring a spring and summer rush at the Port of Edmonds, so electronics checks and hull work are best scheduled in late winter.
Photos of the chip, crack or impact area plus the boat location in Edmonds let us plan materials and gelcoat color before arriving.
We quote the repair in writing, including whether it can be done in the water, on the trailer or needs a short haul out.
Damaged laminate is ground out, rebuilt with proper layup, faired and finished with tinted gelcoat matched to the hull.
The repair is wet sanded and buffed, then inspected with you so it blends with the rest of the boat.

Shane at Divine replaced the Fusion stereo and speakers on my boat. He did an incredible job guiding me to the right solution and then doing the install. He was mobile so the experience was quite convenient and the workmanship was of the highest quality. In addition, he gave me recommendations to other service providers to do repairs on my boat. My experience was terrific and I highly recommend Shane and Divine.

Shane was great! Very knowledgeable about audio and electronics, great suggestions for products. Best of all, he picked up my boat and returned it the very next day with all new sound system! Really happy with the update so far!

Shane is wonderful to work with. He put a much needed upgraded sound system on my yacht in Lake Union and some other nice gadgets. Beautiful workmanship.
Common questions from Edmonds boat owners about fiberglass & gelcoat.
Yes. We tint gelcoat on site to match the existing finish, including faded and oxidized colors common on boats used on Puget Sound. Small chips blend in after sanding and buffing, and larger repairs are faired before the final gelcoat.
Usually not. Most gelcoat, swim step and topside repairs are done at the slip, dock or on the trailer in Edmonds. Below waterline structural work or blister jobs may need the boat out of the water, and we coordinate that for you.
Cosmetic gelcoat repairs in Edmonds usually take one or two visits. Structural work on transoms, stringers or hulls can take several days because each layer needs to cure properly, especially in the cool, damp weather around Puget Sound.
Yes. Most of our Edmonds jobs are done right at the slip in the Port of Edmonds marina. We follow the port’s contractor rules, keep runoff out of the water and coordinate with the sling launch crew when a boat needs to come out.
